I Love You

Today was a day like no other.
Your smile,
your lips, and those words you uttered.
Speaking so softly in a shy voice, your words could have made
the Earth rejoice.
Sweet and sensitive and masculine
too those three little words I "I Love You".
That moment only lasted a second but seemed like forever.
Nothing in my world compares to that whatsoever.
