I Am Me

I wonder what people think of me.
I hear the way they talk.
I see the way they look.
I want them too like me for who I am.
I am me.
I pretend to be someone else.
I feel better when I act.
I touch a world outside of mine.
I worry I look like a fool.
I cry when I realize I can't be someone else.
I am me.
I understand I should love myself.
I say I am happy.
I dream of being happy one day.
I try to better myself.
I hope I will succeed.
I am me.
