I have liked her since the beginning,
I watched her every move and liked her even more.
I have been through many crushes,
but never did I feel this way.
Then I figured out why,
She has never answered back.
She was hurt badly before,
by someone she loved so much.
How could I show her I would never do that?
Finally, I gathered all my courage and made a plan.
At the Valentine's Day Dance, I searched through the place.
At last, I found her, looking more gorgeous than ever.
I walked up to her, and we chatted for a while,
then I asked her to dance, she agreed and took my hand.
I was so pleased as we danced through the song,
it was the best time of my life which I will never forget.
When our dance nearly ended, I softly whispered in her ear,
how I loved her since day one, then I saw the shock in her face.
Will she reject me and tell everyone? Will my life be ruined?
All at once a thousand questions ran through my mind.
Then I saw her slowly smile, I held my breath back.
She whispered back in my ear,
how she felt the same way, but just didn't know if it was real.
I smiled happily back at her.
Now it is two weeks later,
me and her being happily together.
All I want to say to you,
is: it's better to try and find the truth,
than never ever know.
Imagine how happy you would be,
if the same thing happened to you.

When you're down and you're troubled,
and nothing seems to be right.
Just call me and talk to me,
you know I'll try my best to make it all right.
I know I'm just a close friend to you,
and nothing ever more.
But if that's all I get to be,
I'll take the job with honour and pride.
It's just so impossible to let you know how I feel,
because every time I try, you talk about her.
She's so special to you, that I could see.
But I wonder if you'll ever care for me that way.
Finally, I've made my decision, it's just too much of a risk.
So I'll just be a good friend for now,
and save my feelings for another day.
