When I first met you
I had no clue
That you would become
The one.

We were awkward and shy
Never looking at each other
Always looking to the sky
Too afraid to tell one another
Of our secret love and passion
Afraid that it would never last and
We would separate forever
And that we would never be together

Now I'm happy we decided to go for it
And decided not to care
What everyone thought about it
We promised we would be there
Forever and always
Through thick and thin
And with promise, we would always win

The love we had still burns in my heart
And I know we will never be apart
A love like ours
Is a hard one to find
It doesn't come in a matter of hours
And although it took long
We are together through body and mind
And a love like ours will keep going strong.
