ME AND YOU, STAR
~
Raghab Nepal
Bridge the gap between me
And you star, your glitters
Are driving me insane.
My heart is tough to behold
And my explanations are going futile.
Your twinkles have turned
So dear to me but come close
And give me that heat. God gave
Me no wings to fly but the angel
In you have taken me so high and still
You look ignorant about the love within.
My ways in life are dark, enlighten
It through like a guiding star
And turn me true, burn
The evils that may still
Reside in my heart where
A home have I built for you.
But why do we still pretend
And just smile our love off
In this common air?
And I seem a scared butt
To have loved a princess
Above my grade.
LOVE, A DIVINE RIGHT
Help me cross the seven seas to you
Longing for your love, I cry.
My life is so short to swim it through
I pray to birds in the sky
To carry me over to my love
As you refrain to give me those smile,
I wish I were that dove
So as to fly to you in a while.
Winds are blowing weak to carry me across
To the heaven where you live.
And life's turned too tough
Like a mountain so high and steep.
I'm fighting my way on to you,
Darling don't be so rude
Now my love is the only truth
And by now you should have understand.
Whisper in the air for me
The love song of your life
Only love then that you'll find
As the sole divine right.
