My heart is heavy
And I am blue
Why is it I can't get
Over memories of you
You've let me know
In your own little way
Actions speak louder than words
Isn't that what they say..
Good times are memories
Locked in my heart
Then there are memories
That cause tears to start..
I can't seem to run away
From memories that we share
Will it always be this way
Will I always care
I made a big decision today
I decided to let you go your own way
I didn't care what you had to say
I just prayed to myself that everything would be okay
I gave up to you everything I had
I did it all to make you glad
I never wanted to see you sad
Or do anything to make you mad..
You were everything I wanted you to be
You meant the world, everything to me
I wish I could have done something for you to see
For when it came to my heart,
you had the key
For you anything I would do
The only thing I wish is that you knew
This one last thing is very true
I'll never forget and will always love you!
I can't seem to run away
