I've always treated you only as my friend
a friend just like everyone else...
but sometimes, your friendship
I take for granted
I share laughter w/you and tell
my secrets too...

I've always thought it this way
until come a day
when I cannot hide
what I really feel for you inside

I kind of knew that this day would come
but I didn't seem to mind
because I thought this would just pass
what I didn't know, is that it would last...

When my friends ask me
do you feel anything for him?
I would just say "no"
even though, the truth they already know...
Now that I know
what I really feel for you
I just can't help looking at you
because I thought you feel the same way too...

I can tell by the way you look at
me and the way you talk to me
it really meant a lot to me
even if I knew we weren't meant to be...

I'm afraid the day would come
that you would turn you back
even though it really hurts me
I had to accept all that...
just to set you free...

Now that you have found the one
who can give you all the care and love...
I'm happy for you...

Now that I'm all left alone
in the dark and cold
so much heart broken
with no one to talk to me
even on the phone

But I know that I will find someone...
someone who will love me as I am
now deep inside my heart I know
that I had to let you go
