The Climb

I've never needed riches to bleed my own means,
I've never watered life just to feed my material dreams.
I've waited on the hope that calls out to the better side of me.
If I cried out upon a mountain would you pass by me on the wind,
or carry on with one devotion to show me all thats been.
Am I just one of the fallen,
from the falling that you saved in time,
you said,"there is no mountain that I cannot climb."
So tonight I cry upon your mountain and wait here in the wind,
I carry on with one devotion to wait upon a friend,
who said,"sometimes life is the beginning found here at the end,
I carry on with one devotion,to hear your cries upon the wind,
that all may know that I am the beginning and the end,
for I am all thats ever been.
