I have your hugs and your gentle stillness
Your kisses to end my days
This place is like a whispering field
of rolling grass and wild flowers
bowing down in a perfumed breeze
around our waists
falling in love with you
is like being a child again
seeing the world for the very first
time
your arms are a nest of warmth and
your eyes a study in dedication
you have created in me
a heart of continuous emotion
ever rolling as the blue waves
onto a faraway shore
the sun dancing and bouncing
off of the breaking tides
dazzling the eyes and singing to my heart
in your love I have found the
joy of my own little world
a place of security and restfulness
that resides in my soul
this is the beauty I find in you
