Psychic Readings and
Tarot Cards
Perhaps the best known and most popular method of obtaining a psychic reading is through the use of Tarot cards.
A typical Tarot deck has 78 cards. For a psychic reading, the cards are dealt into what is called a 'spread.'
Each card has a specific meaning, and the psychic reader interprets their meaning through your question(s),
and your reaction to each card as it applies to your life/situation.
Major Arcana Cards-
Fool, Magician, High Priestess, Empress, Emperor, Hierophant, Lovers, Chariot, Strength,
Hermit, Wheel, Justice, Hanged Man, Death, Temperance, Devil, Tower, Star, Moon,
Sun, Judgement, World
Minor Arcana Cards-
Suits: Aces, Twos-Tens
Court Cards: Pages, Knights, Queens, Kings
Wands, or Rods - The element of fire. They represent spirit, passion, energy, and creativity.
Pentacles, or Disks - The element of earth. They represent money, material things and matters, and physical well-being.
Cups - The element of water. They represent love, emotions, relationships, and intuition.
Swords - The element of air. They represent the mind and intellect, communication, and conflict.
The oldest and most widely used method of 'dealing' the Tarot cards is called the Celtic Cross. As pictured here,
10 cards are dealt in order, each with a specific meaning. The cards each have meaning, as well as the order
in which they appear, and their position within the 'spread'.

Psychic readings through Tarot cards involve a great deal of variables, but with a little practice, it is easier to understand a psychic reading
than one might think. There are numerous study books out there (with cards included) that can assist you in completing your OWN psychic reading
using your personal Tarot cards! In the long run, this can actually be much less expensive than paying a psychic for a psychic reading- although
many prefer to investigate how the professionals do it, or obtain a psychic reading from one first before attempting the 'at home' psychic
reading method.
Once you have a little knowledge about Tarot cards and their spread and meaning, you can get together with
a few friends and have a 'Tarot' party!
