Neptune's Court

Neptune courted me today.
Tossed his sacrifices
before me on the shore.
Sang in rhythms sure
and lured me
reached for me
with great whispering hands.
Servants cut the beaded hillocks with mirrored fins
and curved in pairs
slipped through his fingers toward the shore.
He spent the remainder
of the day
heaving hollow sighs
sweeping up the trinkets
I left behind.

Hundreds of love poems and love poetry for all occasions - including Neptune's Court --
original, sometimes bizarre, oddly pleasing, strangely refreshing, unheard, untested,
unpublished, under appreciated, overly overlooked, yet still there for your Internet pleasure ...
and all, we might add, FREE - at no cost, with no obligation ... just try and find a deal like that
anymore -- well, we could just go on forever and apparently we are ... so fare thee well ... and
good luck with your life.
